Fortum combination pliers 180mm
You won't notice it at first glance, but despite their strictly traditional and sober design, Fortum pliers don't need to look exceptional - because they are exceptional. Higher hardness. The cutting jaws of Fortum pliers are induction hardened to a hardness of 58-62 HRC. The individual parts of the jaws are precisely milled and the blade is ground with maximum precision. Their geometry allows for clean cutting of both soft and hard wires. (TIP: You will achieve greater effect when cutting paths if you insert the wire into the jaws as close to the joint as possible.) Greater reliability. Most models of Fortum pliers have a six-point rotating joint, the geometry of which significantly increases the ability of the pliers to reliably and safely transmit even high forces. Greater efficiency. The two-component handles of Fortum pliers are made using modified PP plastic and soft TPE rubber, which provides a safer, more pleasant and more effective grip. Longer service life. All pliers are made of high-quality 61CrV5 steel, subsequently hardened in oil. The surface is treated, depending on the type, either by painting or phosphating to prevent corrosion. Greater resistance. The material used, including the surface treatment - all this prevents the capture of grease, dirt and ensures high resistance to organic and inorganic solvents, oils and other aggressive substances. (TIP: You can increase the comfort of work and the service life of your pliers by occasionally applying a small amount of oil to moving and polished parts.)
