CrMoV - Chrome-molybdenum steel 60CrMoV18-5 is a steel with properties similar to chrome-vanadium steel, but due to the admixture of molybdenum, it is harder and stronger. Because its production is significantly more expensive, this steel is used by European and Japanese manufacturers for highly loaded tools or their most stressed parts. S2 - Among the alloy steel of the highest class, the steel marked S2 stands out for its properties. Its properties surpass both chrome-vanadium and chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel.
